The sleek decor gives the rooms a refined air and the color palette that the rooms present (grey walls, brown hardwood floors, and blue and beige drapes) ad to the stylish vibes the establishment exudes. The beds present padded headboards and bed skirts of solid dark gray, and muted orange bedspreads that add some color to the whole setup. You will also find nightstands at either side of the bed as well as a 40-inch, flat-screen, smart TV hanging on the wall.
The hotel’s bathrooms are equally stylish and come equipped with large, walk-in showers with clear glass doors and rainfall showerheads. the floors hardwood, just like in the bedrooms. Walls are white-ceramic.
There are several types of rooms to choose from at the hotel: Entry-level or Tiny Rooms, Double Rooms, Interior Plus, and Junior Suites. The smallest rooms are quite small with just a king-sized bed placed up against the walls and no seating other than little cubes. They also feature small closets with electronic safes. Double rooms offer enough extra room to add small desks and simple gray wooden chairs, as well as armoires. With the double room, you also get a coffeemaker and mini-fridges. Both of these rooms are offered with or without a private terrace furnished with a small table and two chairs. The other categories are even bigger and come with pull-out sofas and Nespresso machines.
The hotel features an excellent breakfast buffet, a top-notch and unique restaurant, Plato Unico, and a relaxing rooftop bar.
Breakfast at the hotel consists of a selection of traditional Barcelonés breakfast dishes: rustic bread toasted with scrubbed tomato (not crushed) and accompanied by a selection of cheeses or sausages, or an omelet made on the spot.
Plato Unico offers a very unique dining experience indeed: every night they serve one dish and one dish only. The concept has been implemented for some time and it has been a real success. The main course is always the same, the restaurant’s most acclaimed and successful dish, their ribs. All side plates and desserts change according to the season and seasonality.
From the rooftop terrace, clients enjoy spectacular views of the city, while relaxing in the chill-out area, cooling off in the pool, or enjoying a good cocktail.
The hotel sits right in between the famous Arc de Triomphe of Barcelona and the Plaza Cataluña, right smack dab in the middle of downtown Barcelona.
