Hotel Oniria in Granada – Review
The hotel is located in the heart of the city in a refurbished XIX century estate.
The hotel features 31 spacious and cozy rooms. Our favorite item at this hotel is its garden, a place full of fragrant and exotic flowers, 2 fountains, and a beautiful interior patio, a perfect place where you can relax.
Location
You should estimate a long 25 minutes walk to get to the Alhambra (a steep walk) We would recommend the use of taxi to visit the Alhambra. You would need a bit more than 5 minutes to get to the cathedral and 15 minutes to reach the Albaicin.
Hotel Oniria is located near Calle San Anton, one of the most commercial areas in Granada, with lots of boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants.
Rooms
There are 37 rooms, all with different decorations. Some of the rooms have not yet been renovated. The ones that have been renovated offering wooden modern furniture and some stylish decoration items. Mid-sized rooms, and our favorite options are the junior suites on the 4th floor where you eventually get a terrace with views to the historic Albaicin district and also the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.
Overall review
This hotel is a perfect option if you enjoy small boutique hotels at central locations. The hotel offers extra high quality services such as a spa center and a high quality restaurant.
Breakfas is of high quality and the overall experience is of a high quality due to the presence of greenery and small gardens with fountains inside the hotel.
The Junior suites on the 4th floor offer the special feature of a terrace with views of the Albaicin. These are not the best views in Granada (some hotels offer amazing views to the Alhambra) but few hotels combine this location, charm, services, value and yet excellent views. Overall, a very good choice to enjoy your trip to Granada and make the most out of your time due to its good location.
