Let me start off by saying that the food is excellent, however, the big highlight of the Gibralfaro Parador is the view.
The hotel is set up on a hill and looks down towards the mediterranean sea and the city of Málaga.
The dining room is surrounded by large windows and offers a spectacular view to patrons as they enjoy their meal.
Then there is the meal itself. The Parador serves traditional Spanish dishes with a touch of sophistication you would expect from the restaurant of a 4-star hotel.

This wonderful restaurant is housed within the Parador of Málaga, located on Mount Gigralfaro, and enjoys some of the best views in the city. This amazing location is very close to the beautiful Alcazaba ad the wonderful Roman Theater.
Though the Parador is high up on a mountain, this mountain is dead in the center of Málagas old quarter and you can easily get many of the cities other top attractions.
The restaurant specializes in traditional Andalusian cuisine and is ideal for a dinner with that special someone.
The menu revolves around seafood and the wealth of fruits and vegetables from the Axarquia, but it also bets on the quality of some meats, and the sweet brooches, which close any occasion. You will find everything from monkfish and clam gazpachuelo, the borrachuelos and, of course, malagueño style fried fish.
Restaurante Parador de Málaga Gibralfaro relatively expensive. The food is great, the location is amazing and the setting is wonderful. You won’t find a restaurant with better views or more romantic vibes. However, you might want to save diner here for a special night.
Lígula – Review Lígula offers incredibly high-quality food at a very reasonable price. You will find creative Mediterranean-style dishes that are definitely worth a taste.
