Hotel El Ladrón De Agua – Review
This amazing XVI building enjoys a privileged location, with amazing views of the Alhambra and has been elegantly restored, taking inspiration from the poetry of Juan Ramón Jiménez.
The rooms at the Ladrón de Agua are modern and antique at the same time. They are equipped with free WIFI and air conditioning but conserve the traditional decoration of the building: wooden beams, ceramic floors, etc.
La Carrera del Carro at the edge of the Albaicin and with views of the Alhambra palace is one of the most famous streets in Granada, and this is where El Ladron del Agua is located. The hotel is located in the heart of the Albaicín neighborhood and its location is simply perfect to easily build an itinerary to enjoy El Albaicin. , right next to the Alhambra.
This is a stylish small hotel (with just 14 rooms) that has been decorated with care and with an artistic sensibility. It is one of our top picks for not too pricey romantic hotels in Granada
The location next to the Darro street (with cobblestones and which goes along the Darro river) is one of the best possible locations in Granada. Add to location the building: a 16th century with Morrish style, including a beautiful interior patio and a marble fountain. Since the hotel is inspired by noble prize Spanish writer Juan Ramon Jimenez, the hotel boasts a cozy library with terracotta tile floors and wooden beams.
All in all, we find the El Ladron del Agua hotel a very romantic and charming hotel for your stay in Granada.
On the negative side we can only highlight that not all rooms enjoy the fantastic views to the Alhambra palace.
