Overall review
The Catalonia Las Cortes hotel is a fantastic luxury hotel located at a XVIIth century palace. If you enjoy hotels at historical buildings, and with great location, this can be a very good option for you.
Do not expect however high-tech nor minimalist design here. This is a hotel where many of the original elements have been preserved and where decoration uses modern touches to provide a welcoming experience but without the aim to overshadow the building and its past. The fantastic parquet wood floors, the baroque stained glass windows, and other decoration elements are a tribute to the building’s past.
The hotel offers overall good value for money if we count on both its location and the overall quality of the premises.
