Chueca is one of the coolest districts in Madrid. It is located next to Gran Via. In this post, we are going to cover our favorite Restaurants in Chueca and we will also provide you some hints to enjoy the area

The Chueca neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants, and bars. The name Chueca is due to the Square at the heart of the district: Plaza de Chueca (there is an underground station with this name). Not far from the underground station. at Calle Augusto Figeroa, you will find one of Madrid´s most popular food markets: the San Anton Market. This is a fantastic market where locals shop daily and where visitors enjoy tapas from all around Spain.

Chueca is Madrid most gay-friendly district and as many other areas in Capital cities it changed from a rather marginalised area and got transformed into a vibrant and stylish. Food markets, squares with small green areas and lots and lots of restaurants, bars and night clubs.
