Theme parks in Tenerife

Let´s start with a couple of things that will for sure be the highlight of your holiday in Tenerife with children: Loro Parque and Siam Park. Loro Parque is a zoo, but when where even detractors of zoos admit animals are really well-taken care of and which offers what is probably the most spectacular show in Europe: the killer whales show. Loro parquet is far more than the killer whales though and we are sure your children (but also teenagers and adults) will love it. One recommendation about food: we would recommend to bring your own food (sandwiches for instance). Loro parquet is located in Puerto de la Cruz, in the northern part of Tenerife. If you stay in the south and do not have a car you can join a bus tour to Loro parquet.

Siam park is located in the south and it is a water park that has been designed carefully and uses thai inspired architecture. It boasts 25 Thai style buildings and, what is more important for children, some amazing rides like the Vulcano or the Dragon. This can be an exhausting day for parents but an unforgettable one for kids. One important thing, do not forget to bring sunscreen.
