The Parador de Oropesa is placed on the building of the Castle of Álvarez de Toledo and the New Palace since 1930. This complex was one of the first that was adapted in Spain as a Parador de Turismo, so it is one of the most emblematic establishments of the hotel chain. It is located in the most historic area of Oropesa and from its terrace there are stunning views of the Sierra de Gredos. In addition, this Parador has a swimming pool, open during the summer season, and with no more than 50 rooms you will have a quiet stay in a unique building.

While the castle dates back to the 12th century, the palace dates back to the 15th century. This contrast of times increases the satisfaction of travellers who stay in the Parador de Oropesa.
