Activities & things to do in Northern Spain
Northern Spain, very often overlooked by tourists, is probably Spain´s less known area. It is however one area of Spain you need to pay attention to. Wines from Rioja, top gatronomy in Basque country, breathtaking landscapes in Asturias, El Camino and Santiago in Galicia... and what about the local Fiestas? San Fermin or the wine battle in Haro are just 2 examples of what you can find in northern Spain.
This is a very special activity to be enjoyed in Rioja with local wine experts who enjoy to share their family tradition and passion for wine. You will gain a deep understanding about vine growing and wine making. This activity is fun and suitable for children. You will have the opportunity to try some activities yourself. A minimum group size of 4 is needed (Unless a group is already in place on your desired date)
This is a self-guided excursion to Haro from Bilbao. The price includes regular bus service from Bilbao to Rioja. You will visit 2 of the best wineries in Haro (guided visits in English with an expert from the winery). 2 to 4 wines are tasted in each of the wineries. As an optional item, you can select to enjoy a Riojan meal in Haro after the winery visits. This excursion is perfect for those willing to learn about wines in Rioja in a day
